Matthew McGevna is an American award-winning poet, essayist and novelist. His debut novel "Little Beasts" was published in 2015 and was listed in BookExpo America's "Books That Buzzed" during its conference. His fictions has appeared in numerous literary magazines, including Bluestem/Karamu, Confrontation and Epiphany. He is the recipient of the 46th Annual C.W. Post Poetry Award, and a Dan's Papers Literary Prize for Nonfiction in 2014. He currently lives in New York.
