Gianna Volpe is a print and broadcast journalist and the host of "Heart of the East End" which airs on WLIW 88.3 FM in New York. We actually held this conversation shortly before Christmas, but the conversation was about the state of journalism, both local and national. We talked about her past experiences as a cub reporter, right up to how she became the replacement for Bonnie Grice, a beloved broadcaster for decades.
